He is expected to join Kotak Mutual Fund.
Harsha Upadhyaya, fund manager of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund has quit the AMC and is slated to join Kotak Mutual Fund, confirmed senior officials from both the AMCs.
Harsha has been associated with DSP BlackRock MF for a year. Prior to it, he was a fund manager with UTI AMC for about 5 years. Harsha is an engineering graduate (B.E) from NIT, Karnataka (1993), and a post-graduate in management (PGDM) from IIM, Lucknow (1996). He also holds a CFA charter conferred by the CFA Institute, USA and was judged India's Best Fund Manager (Runner–up) in Equity category by Outlook Money Awards in 2010.
