BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has announced the New Fund Offer (NFO) BNP Paribas Income & Gold Fund, an open ended debt scheme.
The NFO opens for subscription on May 17, 2011 and closes on May 31, 2011. No entry and exit load charges is applicable for the scheme. The scheme offers dividend payout and growth option.
Benchmark Index for the scheme is CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index + Price of Gold. The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter. The fund manager for the scheme will be Puneet Pal.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income from a portfolio constituted of debt and money market securities, along with investments in Gold Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
