Nitin Rao, Executive Vice President-Private Banking Group and Third Party Products at HDFC Bank has put in his papers, said two sources close to the development.
It is believed that he will continue to remain in the financial services industry though as an entrepreneur.
Rao has over 23 years of experience in finance sector. He has been working with the bank for over 15 years. Prior to this, Rao has worked with AFF Ferguson and Khandwala Securities. He has also worked as the Head of Investment Advisory Services at BNP Paribas.
Rao holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from College of Engineering, Pune and Masters in Business Administration degree from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
