DHFL Pramerica Mutual Fund has appointed Puneet Pal as the Deputy Head- Fixed Income with effect from December 13, said the fund house in a notice on its website.
Prior to this, Pal was Head-Fixed Income at BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. He replaces Nitish Gupta, who is no longer associated with the fund house.
Pal will now manage DHFL Pramerica Banking and PSU Debt Fund, Medium Term Income Fund, Gilt Fund, Inflation Indexed Bond Fund and Dynamic Bond Fund. He will also co-manage DHFL Pramerica Short Maturity Fund with Kumaresh Ramakrishnan and Premier Bond Fund with Rakesh Suri.
Pal holds an MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
