    UTI plans to wind up UTI Sunder Index Fund

    UTI Mutual Fund is considering closing down its index fund launched in July 2003

    Mumbai: UTI Mutual Fund is considering closing down its index fund launched in July 2003, according to one person familiar with the development.

    The open ended index fund invests in securities underlying the S & P CNX Nifty Index and is managed by Mrs. Swati Kulkarni.

    The fund manages a corpus of Rs72 lakhs. The fund has generated 21.43% return during a one year period. UTI Mutual Fund has a total of 24 open-ended equity funds.
