    Fixed income fund manager Ruchir Parekh resigns from AIG Mutual Fund

    Mumbai: AIG Mutual Fund has announced that its fixed income fund manager Ruchir Parekh has resigned with effect from January 10, 2011.

    The fund house has named Vikrant Mehta as Head-Fixed Income with effect from January 11, 2011. Mehta will be the fund manager for AIG India Treasury Fund, AIG World Gold Fund and AIG Quarterly Interval Fund – Series I & II. These were the funds managed by Parekh.

    Parekh was with AIG Mutual Fund since September 2008.
