Mumbai: BNP Paribas Mutual Fund
has announced that its equity fund manager Karthikraj Lakshmanan has resigned with
effect from March 31, 2011.
The AMC has announced that BNP
Paribas Sustainable Development Fund and BNP Paribas Monthly Income Plan
(Equity Portfolio) will be managed by Amit Nigam with effect from April 1,
2011. Earlier, Karthikraj Lakshmanan used to manage both these schemes.
Nigam
is an engineer from IIT and an alumnus of IIM. He has around 12 years of
experience including 9 years in asset management. Prior to this, he was working
with SBI Fund Management as Research Analyst.
