Here is how Trump win will affect the economy

Experts say that there will no impact in the mutual fund industry and one has to wait and watch for the December hike in the interest rate.
    Darshita Shah Nov 10, 2016

We look at what Trump’s election as the US President means for the mutual fund industry.

Gopal Agrawal, CIO Mirae MF - It will be interesting to see when Fed would hike the rates. In my opinion, the Fed will delay hiking the rates which will have positive impact on emerging markets especially India.

Lakshmi Iyer, CIO of Kotak MF - Bonds markets will react positively. Though there were some corrections in the markets today, there was substantial recovery by closing time.

Himanshu Vyapak, Deputy CEO Reliance Nippon Life MF – I don’t see any significant impact on the industry. In my view, Trump is pro India. However, we are in a wait and watch mode. We have to see what Fed is going to deliver in December policy review.
