Franklin Templeton Investments has announced dividend in Franklin India Pension Plan (FIPEP) and Franklin Build India Fund (FBIF) as given below. All investors registered in the Dividend Plans as on December 30, 2016 will receive this dividend. Pursuant to payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy (as applicable). Investment of up to Rs.1.5 Lakhs in FIPEP during the current financial year (2016-17) would also be eligible for tax benefits under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

The record date for the dividend is December 30, 2016 and any purchases on or before this date will be eligible for the dividend. Under the dividend reinvestment plan, the dividend declared will be reinvested in the Fund at the NAV of January 2, 2017 and unit holders will be allotted additional units for the dividend amount. If in any case the Record Date falls on a non-Business Day, the immediately following Business Day shall be the Record Date.
