    Tata Mutual Fund revises management of some of its funds

    Gopal Agrawal and Murthy Nagarajan were recently appointed as CIO-Equities and head of fixed income respectively by Tata MF. Effective Apr 17, the fund houses revises the management of few of its equity schemes.

    Tata Mutual Fund has revised the management of some of its equity schemes, effective from April 17, the fund house said in a press release today. Gopal Agrawal, CIO - Equities will now manage Tata Balanced Fund and Tata Mid Cap Growth Fund.

    The equity portion of Tata Balanced Fund will be co-managed by Agrawal and Pradeep Gokhale, while the debt portion will be taken care of by the head of fixed income, Murthy Nagarajan.

    Tata Mid Cap Growth Fund will be co-managed by Agrawal and Danesh Mistry. Mistry will be the assistant fund manager for the scheme.

    The fund house has also revised the management of Tata Large Cap Fund, Tata Equity P/E Fund and Tata Equity Opportunities Fund. Pradeep Gokhale, who manages Tata Large Cap Fund, will now be assisted by Sonam Udasi as a co-fund manager in this fund. Tata Equity P/E fund will be co-managed by Sonam Udasi and Pradeep Gokhale while Rupesh Patel will continue to be the fund manager. The fund house also mentioned that multiple fund managers will manage Tata Equity Opportunities Fund.

    Prior to joining Tata Mutual Fund on April 3, Agrawal was associated with Mirae Asset Management, where he managed Mirae Asset India Opportunities Fund and Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund.
