    Tata MF to launch 5 new funds under Own a Piece of India™ theme

    The new fund offer will open on December 4, 2015, and will close on December 18, 2015.

    Tata Mutual Fund is launching 5 new funds and 1 existing fund under the theme of Own a Piece of India™. The fund allows investors to participate in India's growth with a single investment across these five schemes. The NFO  opens on December 4 and will close on December 18, says a press release issued by the company.

    Own a Piece of India™ allows investors to take customized preferences in equity by combining exposure to different segments with 'One Application – One Cheque'. Additionally, a multiple fund manager approach is adopted with this new offering wherein each fund will have a 'Lead Fund Manager' and supported also by one or more fund managers in the portfolio management process, the release said.

    R Ganesh, MD & CEO, Tata Asset Management said, "On the 20th anniversary of launching of our first two schemes we are yet again setting a milestone with the launch of five new offerings and 1 existing scheme after a wait for nearly six years. Now every investor who hears of India's future growth and success can also participate with ease with one investment.”

    “We are also presenting multiple fund managers in our investment Management process by assembling a diverse team of our Fund managers to pursue the best investment opportunities in Indian markets. We believe this is the first of its kind where we are bringing India's future growth and success in a simple and a stroke of investment," Ganesh added.

    Tata Banking and Financial Services Fund

    It is an open ended Banking & Financial Services Sector Scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing atleast 80% of its net assets in equity/equity related instruments of the companies in the Banking and Financial Services sector in India. Lead Fund Manager - Pradeep Gokhale; Co-Fund Managers - Atul Bhole & Rupesh Patel.

    Tata India Consumer Fund

    It is an Open Ended Consumption Oriented Sectors Scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing atleast 80% of its net assets in equity/equity related instruments of the companies in the Consumption Oriented sectors in India. Lead Fund Manager - Atul Bhole; Co-Fund Managers - Pradeep Gokhale & Rupesh Patel.

    Tata Digital India Fund

    It is an Open Ended Information Technology Sector Scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing atleast 80% of its net assets in equity/equity related instruments of the companies in Information Technology Sector in India. Lead Fund Manager - Pradeep Gokhale; Co-Fund Managers - Atul Bhole & Rupesh Patel.

    Tata India Pharma & Healthcare Fund

    It is an open ended Pharma and Healthcare Services Sector Scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing atleast 80% of its net assets in equity/equity related instruments of the companies in the pharma and healthcare sectors in India. Lead Fund Manager - Rupesh Patel; Co-Fund Managers - Pradeep Gokhale & Atul Bhole.

    Tata Resources & Energy Fund

    It is an open ended Resources and Energy Sectors Scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital appreciation by investing atleast 80% of its net assets in equity/equity related instruments of the companies in the Resources and Energy sectors in India. Lead Fund Manager - Rupesh Patel; Co-Fund Managers - Pradeep Gokhale & Atul Bhole.

    Tata Infrastructure Fund

    It is an open ended equity scheme. The investment objective of the scheme is to provide income distribution and / or medium to long term capital gains by investing predominantly in equity / equity related instruments of the companies in the infrastructure sector. Fund Manager - Rupesh Patel

     

    The exit load will be 1% upto 90 days for each fund; except Tata Infrastructure Fund where exit load is 1% upto 365 days.
