    Mutual fund houses cut distributor commissions

    Asset Management Companies (AMCs) have started slashing commissions paid to distributors on selling of mutual funds. As of now, two AMCs, DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund and IDFC Mutual Fund, have slashed commissions. Mutual fund advisors say the move will benefit investors.

    This effort is same as eliminating a doctor between pharmaceutical company and patient.

    This article clearly says that AMCs have started reducing the commissions for distributing their mutual fund schemes as per Sebi’s guidelines. which aims at reducing the total expense ratio" which means SEBI wants to eradicate us to give additional profits to AMCs and to risk crores of investor's hard earned money.
