Number of life insurance policies sold has risen 3.5% in nine months since April last year, while new business premium grew 16%, according to data collated by Life Insurance Council.
Although the growth in number of policies sold halved compared to what it was in the first six months of the fiscal, industry captains expect a higher traction in the March quarter, which traditionally shows higher insurance sales.
