Ask ET Mutual Funds: I want to invest Rs 1.5 lakh. Where should I invest it?

    Source-Economic Times Mar 16, 2017

I am 28 years old. I have recently started SIPs in DSP BlackRock Tax Saver Fund, Axis Long Term Equity Fund and Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund. I also deposited a lumpsum of Rs 30,000 each in DSP BlackRock Tax Saver, Franklin Smaller Companies Fund and ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund. I want to invest Rs 1.5 lakh that I got from surrendering my LIC policy. Where should I invest it? Any of the above mutual funds or any other stocks? Kindly guide.

    --Manish Kumar

You are currently investing in two tax-saving mutual funds or Equity Linked Savings Schemes, one equity-oriented balanced scheme and a smallcap scheme. You should try to link your financial goals to your tax planning and investments. That would help you make your investment decisions.
