Ask ET Mutual Funds: Should I sell my investments in debt funds?

Source: Economic Times Mar 29, 2017

I am a regular investor in equity mutual funds since last 1.5 years. I made a mistake by choosing two long term debt funds (L&T Flexi Bond Fund and ICICI Prudential Long Term Fund) and invested Rs 1 lakh in each of them on February 6, to make an STP. I am switching Rs 2,000 on weekly basis from each fund. ICICI Prudential Long Term Fund to ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund and L&T Flexi Bond Fund to L&T Emerging Businesses Fund. Both of my debt funds have lost more than 2.5 per cent. Should I keep it as it is or should I sell my investments in debt funds and make investment from my savings account?
