Principal Mutual Fund will hold a half-day-long event titled ‘Principal Conclave’ at BSE International Convention Hall, Mumbai on January 8, 2018.
Sharing the rationale for holding this event, Gaurav Goyal, National Sales Head told Cafemutual that the fund house aims to provide insights, trends and guidance to distributors for 2018. “We want IFAs to get a grip on what is coming next. In addition, for the first time perhaps a fund house is setting up a helpdesk for IFAs to resolve their business related queries.”
This event will have a helpdesk centre of Karvy Computershare, NSE NMFII, BSE Star MF and MF Utilities to resolve all your queries related to online transactions, setting up an SIP, GST compliance and Aadhaar updation.
The event will have expert speakers to do justice to the topics. Ridham Desai, MD, Morgan Stanley India will give a keynote on ‘ Market Outlook 2018’. “Though our fund managers constantly update distributors on market developments, listening to experts such as Ridham will help IFAs get insights on what to expect from equity markets. These insights will help IFAs align their clients portfolio,” said Goyal.
Apart from key note address, the event will have two panel discussions on digital initiative and market outlook. While V Ramesh, MD & CEO, MF Utilities India, V Ganesh, CEO, KarvyComputershare, Chetan Doshi, Assistant VP, NSE NMFII Platform and Omkeshwar Singh, Head- Mutual Funds/ BSE StAR MF will discuss on digital initaives, experts from Principal - Rajat Jain, Chief Investment Officer, PVK Mohan, Head- Equity, Bekxy Kuriakose, Head- Fixed Income and Dhimant Shah, Senior Fund Manager, Equity, will be the part of panel on ‘managing risk and delivering returns’.
Lalit Vij, MD, Principal Mutual Fund and Gaurav Goyal will give their views on the new initiatives of the fund house.
