CNBC TV18 and UTI Mutual Fund honoured best financial advisors, individual as well as institutional, on Wednesday, December 8 at the fourth edition of the ‘Financial Advisor Awards 2010’ held in Mumbai.
Mumbai: UTI Mutual Fund in association with CNBC TV18 hosted the fourth edition of its ‘Financial Advisor Awards 2010’ in Mumbai on December 8, 2010. M D Mallya, Chairman, Bank of Baroda, was the chief guest at the awards function.
Speaking at the awards function, U K Sinha, Chairman and Managing director, UTI Asset Management Company Ltd, said, “There are professional services in this country which have not received the recognition commensurate with their contribution to the society. Financial advisory service is one such service. It has played a stellar role in spreading the benefits of the growth of the Indian economy across the length and breadth of the Country.”
The award winners were selected through an evaluation process that took into account various parameters like sales, number of years in the business, AUM, number of clients, retention and growth of clients, etc.
