    8 funds houses to compete in T20 cricket tournament

    Axis, DSP BlackRock, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra, HSBC, Motilal Oswal, Religare Invesco and SBI to faceoff in the first ‘T-20 Corporate Challenge Cricket Cup 2015’.

    Indians love cricket and the AMC community is no different.

    8 fund houses – Axis, DSP BlackRock, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra, HSBC, Motilal Oswal, Religare Invesco and SBI will compete in the first T20 cricket tournament called ‘T-20 Corporate Challenge Cricket Cup -2015’ to be held exclusively for the mutual fund industry.

    This four-day-long tournament (spread over two weekends) will start from October 24 and end on November 1 at Naman Payyade Cricket Ground, Borivali, Mumbai.

    Sarang Sports is organizing this event. Nikhil Sarang, Founder, Sarang Sports, said that this is the first T-20 tournament cricket organized exclusively for the mutual fund industry. He told Cafemutual that he has been working on this project for past three years.

    The first match of this knock out tournament will be played between HSBC MF and SBI MF from 9.30 am. Religare Invesco MF will faceoff Motilal Oswal MF in the second match of the first day.

    On the second day i.e. October 25, DSP BlackRock MF will play against Kotak Mahindra MF while ICICI Prudential MF will take on Axis Mutual Fund. The winners of these matches will directly qualify for semi-finals to be played on October 31.

    The final match is scheduled to be held on November 1 from 1.30 pm.
