Benchmark bond yield at 20-month low; What should be your debt mutual fund strategy?

The 10-year benchmark yield hit 6.82 per cent on Tuesday, marking a 20-month low. The money markets around the world witnessed fall in yields this week. Lower yield is good news for debt mutual fund investors, especially those in long duration bond funds. However, debt mutual fund managers want you to hold on to your horses for the moment, as they believe there might not be a sustainable rally in the long duration segment.
