Do you think the finance minister will maintain fiscal prudence at the budget?
That is what they have been indicating even in the last budget. While the FM will try to meet the fiscal deficit target, a lot of funding is happening outside the budget. Even last year, the governments off balance-sheet funding (through NHAI, FCI, etc) had gone up significantly. That could continue to increase proportionately.
