    How taking loan moratorium will impact your future EMIs

    Borrowers have been allowed to opt for loan moratorium and skip EMIs for 3-6 months. Find out how your future EMIs will be impacted by your decision of opting for a moratorium on the loan taken by you.

    The RBI has extended the loan moratorium for another three months till 31 August. Roughly one out of three borrowers had opted for the initial loan moratorium announced in March, though not everybody actually needed immediate relief. An online survey by ET Wealth shows that while 33% of the borrowers opted for the moratorium, almost one out of every three such individuals opted for relief only to conserve cash. The survey was conducted last week after the end of the first moratorium on 31 May and got responses from 938 borrowers from across the country.
