Domestic mutual funds mostly lapped up shares of insurance companies and other financials in June and showed a preference for Bharti Airtel over Vodafone Idea to play the India telecom story, as they rejigged their portfolios after the strong rally in stocks.
Active equity funds did manage to ride the equity rally since March lows to log significant gains, but most underperformed their respective benchmarks.
