Sensex on Friday tanked 588.59 points to stand at 46,285.77. And since January 21, the benchmark index has made a loss of 3,506.35 or 7.04%. Following this, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies has seen an erosion of ₹11,57,928.54 crore to ₹1,86,12,644.03 crore during this time. As retail investors are in a state of panic, top AMC bosses suggest that there is nothing to panic, and advise them to focus on building a solid portfolio.
