    Gopal Agrawal quits Tata Mutual Fund

    He will join another AMC after serving out a notice period of six months.

    Gopal Agrawal, CIO, Tata Mutual Fund has put in his papers. He has been with the fund house since April 2017. Confirming the development, Gopal said he will serve his notice period of six months before moving on.

    Agrawal said that he would continue to work in the asset management industry. However, he has not revealed the AMC he will join.

    Prior to Tata Mutual Fund, Gopal Agrawal has served as the CIO of Mirae Asset and fund manager of SBI Mutual Fund. He has also been associated with organizations like Kotak Securities, HDFC Securities, IDBI Capital, UTI Securities and IPCL.

    With over 15 years of experience in financial services Industry, Gopal is a gold medallist chemical engineer by qualification and second ranked brain in MBM at VGSOM, IIT Kharagpur.

    So the woes for TAML top management brain drain continues. 5 CEO's in less than 10 years and same fate of fund managers. They need to get their act together soon.
