All commission including trail, in respect of business procured prior to expiry of ARN and suspended due to non-renewal, is forfeited.

My ARN is 12942 which expired on 12 February, 2013. I was not able to renew it before it got expired. Now my doubt is this whether passing the NISM V A MF Distributor exam will be counted for renewal within six months after expiry as my six months will be over on 12 August, 2013. I am appearing for the test on 5 August, 2013 which I am confident to pass. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will give marks sheet immediately after the test. Is ARN Card required to claim suspended commission?

    Dear Sanjeev,

    Thanks for writing to us.

You can send the mark sheet, two photographs, xerox copy of KYD along with a DD of Rs 1500 to AMFI. The suspended commission will be paid to you. However, you will not receive any commission on the business done when the ARN was invalid (after 12 February 2013).

Let us know if you require any further clarification.
