We have changed the company name to comply with SEBI recent guidelines on RIAs. In fact, we have received approval from Registrars of Companies (ROC). Please let us know how can we update this information with different AMCs.

Dear Murtaza,
AMFI has prescribed a standard application form for requesting a name change. You can download it by clicking here.
Such an application has to be supported by your updated PAN, ROC certificate, details of new bank account carrying the name of new company and GST registration number with the new company name (if applicable). You can submit self-attested photocopies of these documents along with the prescribed form.
You will have to submit all these documents at CAMS point of sales through post or physically.
Once your application goes through, you will have to mention that you are ‘AMFI registered mutual fund distributor’ along with the name of new company. Also, incorporate changes in letterheads, logo, visiting cards, stationary, rubber stamps, website, social media handles and signature line used in communication.
AMFI in consultation with SEBI has asked MFDs to incorporate changes to their company/firm/LLP name by December 31, 2020. Since you have already done the name change, make sure to submit your name change application along with above mentioned documents to AMFI through CAMS by December 31.
Remember, there is no need to inform AMCs separately as CAMS reports to AMCs about such changes on behalf of AMFI.
In any case, you can write to AMFI at contact@amfiindia.com for more clarification.
