    Amrita Farmahan is the new CEO of Ambit Wealth Management

    Ambit Global Private Client has today appointed Amrita Farmahan as the new CEO. In this role, Amrita will be responsible for propelling the growth of Ambit’s wealth management business.

    Amrita has over two decades of experience across wealth management, consumer banking, corporate finance and investment management in Indian as well as global financial services firms.

    In a press release, Ashok Wadhwa, Group CEO, Ambit Private said, “Amrita’s long-standing experience and expertise will help us further scale our wealth management business, in India as well as overseas. She is a seasoned leader with a proven track record, and her empirical knowledge will be critical to enabling growth opportunities for the firm.”

    Amrita Farmahan, CEO, Ambit Global Private Client added, “In an environment of constant change, we will endeavour to build a high quality sustainable business on a foundation that is stable and consistent, while protecting the interests of our clients, our employees and our franchise.”

    Amrita has been a part of the evolution of the wealth management industry in India. Amrita has previously worked with Avendus and Reliance Private Client, where she built and led the respective wealth management businesses. She has also worked with Citibank for 12 years and was the Network Sales Director, Branch Banking and India Head for Citigold Private Client.
