Bengaluru based Council of Financial Planners (COFP) is holding its third edition of COFP India Annual Convention. Themed as ‘Transform and Thrive’, the three day event will kick off on July 14.
Learning from peers can be a good way to get fresh perspective about the issues facing your practice. To help you get new business ideas, COFP has dedicated the first day to ‘Planners Visit’ where financial planners from across India will showcase their business models. They will share their thoughts on what has worked for them, what hasn’t and the lessons learnt by them so that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Sanjeev Govila, Founder of Hum Fauji Initiatives, Rohit Shah of Getting You Rich, Amit Kukreja, Founder, WealthBeing Advisors, Prashant Prabhu, 29k Investment Advisors and Jitendra Solanki are the advisors who will talk about their business models.
The changing landscape of financial advisory has created a strong need for everyone to continuously upgrade their skills. To help you keep ahead of the curve, the day two (July 15) will have four workshops which will run simultaneously. These focused group workshops will deal with technical and psychological aspects of your business. Some of the topics which will be covered in these workshops are risk profiling and asset allocation, designing superior customer experience, behavioural finance and brand building.
While the first two days of the event will have focused group discussions, the third day is dedicated to the convention which is expected to see a gathering of more than 200 financial advisors from across India. COFP has invited two key speakers from outside industry. Govinda Rao, Ex-Planning Commission member will share insights on the new trends in the financial services landscape. Dr. Shyam Bhat, Author, Psychiatrist and Integrative Medicine Specialist will speak on ‘Building empathy for your client’.
