It is nine in the morning there is an excited buzz in the Sahara Star Ballroom. Many IFAs are coming in and there is a lot of hand shakes, hellos and cards getting exchanged. As the first speaker walks on to the stage, the audience quietens, the anticipation is electric... CIFA17 finally starts.
For the fourth time in a row, the cafemutual IFA aka CIFA was a huge success. The entire event had an international feel with 23 speakers sharing their insights on various topics. Themed ‘Charting the growth course,’ the daylong program aimed to equip IFAs with practical tips required to grow their business.
The program, designed for IFAs and their employees who deal with clients had lined up some of industry’s best minds and outside experts to share their experiences with IFAs.
With quizzes after each session and surprise gifts for the most number of tweets, the audience was kept on its toes. It was overall a day of infotainment.
The event drew over 450 delegates from various cities.
Many of the speakers and delegates were awestruck by the stage arrangement and format of the show. When a speaker walked on to the dais, the lights dimmed in the audience and a spotlight aimed at the speaker.
The IFAs got to witness the unveiling of “Wealth Beats” a book launched by CafeMutual in collaboration with Birla Sun life. Everyone who attended got a complimentary copy of the book.
Among the speakers, were financial experts like noted economist Swaminathan Anklesaria Aiyer, PV Subramanyam an author & financial coach and Gaurav Mashruwala the founder of A Cutting Edge, Suresh Sadagopan of Ladder7 Advisories, Kavitha Menon, Ravinath Desika of Tavaga and Rajesh Krishnamoorthy of iFAST Financial.
Industry honchos like, Avnish Jain, Head - Fixed Income, Canara Robeco AMC, Prashant Jain, ED & CIO, HDFC AMC, Sanjay Sapre, President, Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India), Manish Gunwani, Deputy CIO-Equity, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, Radhika Gupta, CEO, Edelweiss AMC, Suresh Soni, CEO, DHFL Pramerica AMC, Nimesh Shah, MD & CEO, ICICI Prudential AMC and Anoop Bhaskar, Head-Equities, IDFC AMC also spoke at the event.
