The Association of Registered Investment Advisors (ARIA) has conducted a knowledge session titled ‘RIA Clinic’ for MFDs on how to become RIAs.
Over 215 MFDs and other financial professionals attended this session held on June 16.
The session aimed to increase awareness about registered investment advisors among professionals. It also took existing MFDs through the entire process of becoming RIAs and gave an overview on compliance and transition.
In this session, members of ARIAs spoke about client management and professional and legal requirements to become an RIA. The members also took questions after the session to address queries and concerns of MFDs.
Apart from leading RIAs, the association also hosted CA Sanjay Kadel who talked about taxation, corporate law and RIA regulations.
Rohit Shah, member of ARIA had spearheaded this knowledge session.
