North India’s MFD association - All Mutual Fund Distributors Welfare Association (AMDwA) recently organized a dialogue meeting titled ‘AMDwA-AMC Samvaad 2023’ to discuss the issues and concerns of MFDs. Over 60 people including 20 AMC officials attended this meet.
Ajay Sharma, President, AMDwA said that the meeting was conducted to raise voice of MFD community before AMCs. Senior association members like Sanjeev Garg and Sanjay Bhan represented AMDwA community before AMCs.
Here are some key discussions held during the meet:
- MFDs should be trained and educated to onboard women clients and millennials
- Training programs should focus on practical issues like retaining existing clients
- MFDs should be trained to deal with the growing emergence of finfluencers
- MFDs should be allowed to carry out IAPs in B30 locations
In the meeting, the association honoured the new members of executive committee. Also, the association created different committees for addition of new membership, training support to MFDs, MFD welfare and carrying out sports activity for members.
