Cafemutual has awarded mutual fund companies for their exceptional performance at the Cafemutual Passives Conference on May 23 at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai.

Dhirendra Kumar, CEO, Value Research and Prem Khatri, Founder and CEO, Cafemutual have felicitated the winners.

Cafemutual Passives awards aim to improve the industry standards and bring to spotlight the potential of passives.

Team Cafemutual has carefully reviewed existing passives funds to declare awards across 27 passive fund categories based on various parameters like tracking error, tracking difference and impact cost. We have shortlisted the best performing scheme based on the following parameters:

    •          Analyzed 369 schemes across various categories of index funds and ETFs – 195 index funds and 174 ETFs

    •          These schemes have a track record of at least 1 year

    •          Each category has at least 5 schemes

    •          Team Cafemutual shortlisted the best performing index funds based on two parameters – tracking error and tracking difference with 50% weightage to each component

    •          For ETFs, shortlisting was based on four parameters – tracking error, tracking difference, one year average trading volume and impact cost. Each parameter contributes 25% to the final score

Cafemutual has shortlisted 27 schemes based on their performance. These schemes include 12 index funds across 6 categories and 15 ETFs across 7 categories.

In addition, Cafemutual has announced a special award for an AMC that has brought innovation by launching a new category of debt index fund last year.
