    Bibek Debroy, the Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to PM Narendra Modi, will address  a session at the eighth edition of Cafemutual Confluence 2019 (CC19) scheduled to be held on October 23 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. 

    Debroy will be speaking on Modi 2.0 - its economic priorities and challenges.

    Debroy is expected to give insights on the focus of Modi government to restore growth in the economy and propel the country towards the 5 trillion dollar mark. He will help the audience understand the government’s economic agenda and the policies that can impact your business.

    Debroy has also been a member of NITI Aayog, the think tank of Indian Government. An Indian economist and author, Bibek has authored several books, papers and popular articles. US-India Business Summit awarded him the Padma Shri award in 2015 and Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.

    Apart from Debroy, Randy Bachman, Head of Business Development for Principal International at the US based Principal Financial Group will  be among the speakers.

    Bachman oversees marketing, product strategy, sales & distribution and business development operations working closely with member companies in Brazil, Chile, China, Hong Kong China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico and Thailand.  He was also recently appointed as Senior Advisor for Principal India to work with the local leadership team to help with India’s growing need for financial services.
