The unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown inflicted severe hardships on all of us. Amid these challenging times, many in the MFD community showed their true character to create a difference in others’ lives. These MFDs fed others, gave medical assistance, provided necessities, arranged for transport and so on.
Undoubtedly, these heroes deserve all the praise for their selfless efforts. At Cafemutual Ideas Fest (CIF 2021), Axis Mutual and Cafemutual aim to pay a tribute to these MFDs by felicitating them for their valuable contributions to humanity.
Speaking about the awards, Raghav Iyengar, Chief Business Office, Axis Mutual Fund said, “We want to salute the indomitable spirit of MFDs at Cafemutual Ideas Fest 2021. With these awards, the aim is to acknowledge heroes, create a sense of pride and inspire the entire community.”

- Helped underprivileged with food, rations, medicines etc.
- Provided financial counselling to those impacted negatively (i.e. those who lost jobs or saw pay cuts or loss in business) by the pandemic
- Worked as a volunteer for charity for engaged in Covid relief activities
- Provided support to frontline warriors (our medical and paramedical personnel, municipal workers, police etc.)
- Helped fellow MFDs with material support
- Contributed to the mental wellbeing of affected people
- Helped senior citizens
- Donated plasma/ help arrange plasma for covid patients
- Helped migrants
- Who went beyond their call of duty to help their clients during covid crisis

Process
- We will call for nominations from the MFDs along with details of their social contributions
- A 3-member jury will be appointed to shortlist the winners. This jury comprises Raghav Iyengar, Chief Business Office, Axis Mutual Fund, Prem Khatri of Cafemutual and a well-known MFD
- The winners will receive a trophy
- The winners will also receive a digital certificate of appreciation, which they can share on social media
- Digital certificate of participation to be provided to all shortlisted participants
- Digital badge of ‘Covid warrior’ to be shared with all shortlisted nominations/applicants
Cafemutual Ideas Fest will be held on February 10 and 11. The 2-day virtual conference will help you figure out some of the most pertinent issues such as what the post pandemic world would be like, the changes that are here to stay and finally what you can do to grow and prosper in the future.
