Its AAUM went up by Rs.11347 crore from Rs.92730 crore in June 2015 to Rs.1.04 lakh crore September 2015, shows the latest AMFI data.

In terms of percentage, DWS MF recorded the highest growth of 22% in its assets. Its AUM went up to Rs.25329 crore in September from Rs.20720 crore.

Among the top 15 AMCs, all the players recorded a growth in their assets. These players collectively manage Rs. 11.75 lakh crore (89%) of industry’s total Rs. 13.15 lakh crore assets.

All in all, only four AMCs saw a marginal dip in their AUM. The AAUM numbers of PPFAS, Escorts and SREI were not available yet. The industry’s AAUM increased by Rs. 87,239 crore in September quarter to touch Rs. 13.15 lakh crore in September from Rs. 12.29 lakh crore in June.

The growth in AAUM can be partly attributed to the revival of interest of investors in equity markets and good performance of MF schemes compared to other asset classes.
