Tata Mutual Fund has appointed Chandraprakash Padiyar as a senior fund manager. He will manage Tata Hybrid Equity Fund and Tata Large & Mid Cap Fund.
With over 18 years of experience in research and fund management, Chandraprakash began his career in equity research and analysis at UTI Mutual Fund, later becoming a fund manager there. Most recently, he was with Alchemy Capital Management as portfolio manager for the onshore long-only strategies.
Chandraprakash is an MBA (Finance) from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and also a CFA from The CFA Institute, USA.
In a press release, Prathit Bhobe, CEO and MD, Tata Mutual Fund said, “Chandraprakash brings with him strong knowledge and experience of the equity markets. I am confident that his appointment will be positive for us as we chart out ambitious plans to grow our business.”
