L&T Mutual Fund has reopened its subscription through lumpsum investment of over Rs.2 lakh in L&T Emerging Businesses Fund with effect from today.
In a communication sent to Cafemutual, the fund house said, “The temporary restriction for transactions of more than Rs. 2 lakh per day per investor in L&T Emerging Businesses Fund has been revoked with effect from September 3, 2018. “
Earlier in December 2017, the fund house had restricted lumpsum investment of over Rs.2 lakh in the fund citing lack of opportunity in the mid cap and small cap space.
Sharing the rationale for this decision, Kailash Kulkarni, CEO, L&T Mutual Fund said, “With a significant correction in the small and mid cap space over the last few month, we see the valuations of the companies have become more attractive.”
Also, the fund would continue to accept investment through SIP and STP.
