SBI Mutual Fund, today announced the appointment of Ashwani Bhatia as the MD & CEO of SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd.
Ashwani Bhatia takes over as the MD & CEO, from Anuradha Rao who now returns to State Bank of India (SBI) as Dy Managing Director.
Before joining SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd., he was in charge of revamping the entire credit structure and processes of SBI. He has also been associated with SBI Capital Markets Ltd., as President, CEO and Whole Time Director.
Bhatia a B.Sc. and MBA graduate started his career with State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1985. Over his tenure of 33 years with the State Bank of India, he has worked in various commercial banking verticals such as forex and treasury, retail credit & liability and SME/corporate credit.
