Indian Association of Investment Professionals (IAIP), a member society of CFA Institute in India, has announced the appointment of Navneet Munot, CFA, Anil Ghelani, CFA and Vinay Bagri, CFA as new office bearers.
While SBI MF CIO Munot is the Chairman of the society, DSP MF’s Senior Vice President Ghelani is now Vice Chairman. Similarly, Niyo Solution’s CEO, Vinay Bagri is the new Treasurer. Chetan Shah, CFA will continue as Secretary of IAIP.
Munot, Ghelani and Bagri succeed Jayesh Gandhi, CFA, Amit Khurana, CFA and Saurav Mishra, CFA respectively who have retired from the board of directors of IAIP on completion of their term.
Praising the performance of his predecessor, Munot said, “Mr. Gandhi mobilised volunteers and charged up the program committee of IAIP across the country. He has been the President for the last five years. Under his leadership, IAIP had the first country specific career guide and country-chapter organisation structure both of which resulted into society awards from CFA Institute”.
Ghelani said, "It is great to be associated with an organisation that is driven by the leadership of its volunteers who make this effort by carving time out from their personal space while handling their day-jobs as investment professionals in the industry."
