    Yes bank starts its MF business with liquid fund

    The fund house has launched Yes Liquid Fund, which is open for subscription till January 16.

    Yes Bank has launched its mutual fund business with Yes Liquid Fund. The NFO of Yes Liquid Fund is currently open for subscription and will close on January 16.

    Piyush Baranwal, who was earlier associated with BOI Axa Mutual Fund will manage this liquid fund. Baranwal has worked with Morgan Stanley and Principal Mutual Fund.

    Very soon, the fund house will launch its ultra short term fund.

    Sources said that Nirav Dalal would lead the company as its CEO (Interim). Dalal is President and Managing Director, Debt Capital Markets at Yes Bank.

    Dalal has worked with IDBI bank and Global Trust bank. He has done his post graduation in finance from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and B.com from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

    Last month, Suren Kochhar has joined Yes Mutual Fund as its Head Sales and Marketing. Kochhar was Chief Business Officer at Indiabulls Mutual Fund.
