Motilal Oswal MF launches WhatsApp transaction platform

Turnaround around to execute transaction is less than 2 minutes, said the fund house.

Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has launched WhatsApp transaction platform for investors.

With this, investors can use their WhatsApp messenger to execute transactions across Motilal Oswal MF schemes. The fund house claims that investors can complete the entire process in less than 2 minutes.

Investors are required to send ‘Hi’ at 9372205812 to avail of this facility. The fund house said that if an investor has invested through a distributor, the system will execute transaction in regular plan with his distributor’s ARN.

In a press release, Aashish Somaiyaa, MD& CEO, Motilal Oswal AMC said, “Offering transactions on WhatsApp is our effort to try and be present wherever our investors might find it easier and convenient to be able to deal with us.”

should start transaction facility for Distributors also , whereby distributor can also initiate transaction and intimation can go to investor(not approval) . Investor can authorise his/her distributor for whatsapp transactions.
