    Kotak MF’s Nilesh Shah is the new AMFI Chairman

    Saurabh Nanavati, CEO, Invesco is the new Vice Chairman of AMFI.

    In its board meeting held today in Mumbai, AMFI elected Nilesh Shah, Managing Director Kotak Mutual Fund as its Chairman, confirmed two officials who attended this meeting. Nilesh has replaced Nimesh Shah, MD & CEO, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund who was appointed as the AMFI Chairman in 2018.

    Saurabh Nanavati, CEO, Invesco MF has been elected as the new Vice Chairman of AMFI.

    Last month, AMFI has inducted one new face – Ravi Menon, CEO, HSBC MF as director on its board.

    Currently, there are 15 members in AMFI board of which seven are from the top ten fund houses and four each from mid and small sized AMCs.

    Hope for good change for distributor, all common work for all 44 AMC should be at one place one time like submitting of self declaration, and it should online scan mail no need to submit at cams office as in small town cams not there.
