Nilesh Shah, Managing Director and CEO Kotak Mutual Fund is now a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Economic Advisory Council, shows a letter issued by cabinet secretariat.
The letter issued on October 16 said that following reconstitution of the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister (EAC-PM), Nilesh Shah has been roped in along with Neelkanth Mishra and Dr V. Anantha Nageswaran as part-time members in the EAC-PM.
The three part-time members have been appointed for a period of two years from the date of constitution of the present EAC or until further orders, the letter said.
EAC-PM is an independent body constituted to give advice on economic issues to the Prime Minister.
Coincidently, Nilesh will be working closely with Bibek Debroy, Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Debroy will be delivering a keynote address at the Cafemutual Confluence on October 23 at Taj Lands End Mumbai.
