Budget day is non-business day for mutual funds

While the stock exchanges will be open for trading on budget day, mutual funds will not allow any transactions.

In a public notice issued today, AMFI has clarified mutual funds schemes will remain closed on Saturday.

The clarification has come since the stock exchanges have decided to remain open for trading on Saturday due to the Union Budget 2020.
