Amid expectations of a broad-based recovery in the market, mid cap and small cap categories saw considerable inflows.
    Team Cafemutual Feb 22, 2020

In January, the MF industry witnessed a staggering 75% increase in equity net inflows that grew to Rs 7,877 crore from Rs 4,500 crore in December. Amid expectations of a broad-based recovery in the market, mid cap and small cap categories saw considerable inflows.

In January, net inflows in mid-cap schemes rose by 126% to Rs 1,798 crore from Rs 796 crore in December. Small cap funds also emerged to be one of the sought after categories with net inflows of Rs 1,072 crore in January compared to Rs 421 crore in December.

To understand how MFs are dealing with these flows in the current market scenario, look at what went in and went out last month.
