Sundaram Mutual Fund has received overwhelming response for its newly launched Sundaram Bluechip Fund. The fund house collected Rs.650 crore during NFO of Sundaram Bluechip Fund and received over 46,000 applications from 562 cities, according to a company press release.

Sundaram Bluechip Fund is an open-ended equity scheme predominantly investing in large cap blue chip stocks.

The fund house attributed this to series of digital initiatives and investment process.  The Sundaram MF press release said, “Using a host of social channels, the Google ads network and industry relevant forums, we leveraged various formats to make users aware of the USPs of the fund through live webinars, videos, informative posts, live Q&A sessions, podcasts, engagement stories, etc. In addition, we also popularised the fund during IPL session on Hotstar. Further, we also leveraged its strong distribution franchise of 35,000 MFDs by facilitating co-branded collaterals - creatives, product notes, videos and more to aid with their selling efforts.”

Sunil Subramaniam, Managing Director, Sundaram Mutual said, “The response to the Sundaram Bluechip NFO was overwhelming in these challenging times! 60% of the applications received through the digital mode has been a strong validation of the digital first approach adopted by us.”
