    SBI, HDFC and ICICI witness highest AAUM growth in Jan-Mar

    While most AMCs witnessed a rise in overall assets, 8 AMCs saw a negative growth in AAUM in Jan-Mar.

    SBI MF, HDFC MF and ICICI Prudential MF have witnessed the highest growth in terms of average AUM growth in Jan-Mar quarter.

    An analysis of quarterly average AUM of fund houses shows that SBI MF has seen highest growth of Rs.47,957 crore. With this, the average AUM of the fund house was Rs.5.04 lakh crore in March quarter as against Rs.4.56 lakh crore in December quarter.

    HDFC MF has secured the second position in terms of highest AAUM growth of Rs.26,099 crore. With this, HDFC MF’s AAUM has risen to Rs.4.15 lakh crore in March quarter compared to Rs.3.89 lakh crore in December quarter.

    Next in the line was ICICI Prudential MF with average AUM growth of Rs.25,415 crore. AAUM of the fund house has risen to Rs.4.05 lakh crore in March quarter from Rs.3.79 lakh crore in December quarter.

    Axis MF and Kotak Mahindra MF have ranked fourth and fifth position in terms of highest AAUM growth in Jan-Mar.

    While most AMCs have witnessed a rise in overall assets, 8 AMCs saw negative growth in their assets.

    The MF industry has registered an 8% growth in overall AAUM to Rs.32 lakh crore in Jan-Mar from Rs.29 lakh crore in Oct-Dec.
