HDFC AMC and Nippon Life India AMC have posted stellar results for the financial year 2020-21.
While HDFC AMC's net profit has grown by 5% to Rs 1,325 crore, Nippon Life India AMC posted its highest-ever yearly profit of Rs 680 crore, an increase of 64%.

For the quarter-ended March 31, HDFC AMC's net profit has increased by 26% to Rs 316 crore. Nippon Life India AMC has registered a manifold increase in net profit at Rs 167 crore. Last year, it posted a profit of Rs 4 crore in Jan-Mar quarter.

Key highlights of the results of each AMC:
HDFC AMC:
- AUM has gone up by 12% to Rs 4.15 lakh crore in March 2021 from Rs 3.7 lakh crore in March 2020
- Operating profit has declined by 7% to Rs 1,400 crore in FY 2021
- Profit before tax was up by 6% to Rs 1,748 crore in FY 2021
Nippon Life India:
- Total income for FY21 has increased by 19% to Rs 1,419 crore
- For the March quarter, total income rose to Rs 362 crore
- The AMC manages AUM of Rs.3.50 lakh crore as on March 2021
