Mutual fund distributor Prashant Garg (44) passed away on Tuesday due to coronavirus.
The Ghaziabad MFD is survived by his wife and a 14-year-old son, said MFD Rohit Khulkar, who was a close friend of Garg.
Garg died a few days after the demise of his father who was also suffering from covid.
According to his close friends, Garg was part of the MF industry for close to 15 years. His hard work and professional approach brought him great success. He was managing assets of Rs.35 crore in mutual funds.
Garg was the member of Ghaziabad Financial Professional Association.
"He was doing a great job. He followed very professional approach to grow business. He was a great human being. The news of his death came as a shock to many. His demise is a big loss to the industry," said MFD KK Pandey, a friend of Garg.
