Union Mutual Fund has appointed Sanjay Bembalkar as the Fund Manager - Equity. He will be working closely with Vinay Paharia, CIO, Union MF.
Prior to Union MF, Bembalkar was the Equity Fund Manager of Canara Robeco MF. With over 14 years of experience, he has also worked with LIC MF and Quantum Advisors.
Bembalkar is an alumnus of the London School of Economics (LSE) and a charter holder with CFA Institute, USA. He has also done CA.
In a press release, G Pradeepkumar, CEO), Union MF said, “His appointment is part of a well-planned strategy of expanding our investment team with people who share our philosophy of a process-based approach to investment. His in-depth knowledge and rich experience would complement and strengthen our investment management function further.”
Paharia said, “His process-oriented approach should enrich our investment process and help in our team’s collective endeavour to deliver value to all our unit-holders.”
